It’s a way for you to directly reimburse your drivers when they charge from home. It’s essentially reimbursement for charging a company vehicle at home - and it’s invoice free. Your drivers can charge from the comfort of home without the fuss of a lengthy invoice process. It keeps the cost of charging your fleet in the energy space, without your driver waiting to be reimbursed for costly charging expenses.
With Octopus Fleet, we are partnered with Kraken and RightCharge to use their tech for super accurate reimbursement costs. The exact cost of the charge is tracked and applied back into the home energy bill. If your driver uses Octopus Energy as their home provider, our Kraken team can sort all the details for us, but we don’t stop there! The tech behind RightCharge allows all compatible companies to work with us to help give your drivers convenient charging.
Essentially the role of RightCharge is to facilitate the wider range of non-Octopus suppliers across the UK and Europe. We want to be able to support all drivers, Octopus customers or otherwise. We work with RightCharge to get the accurate energy tariffs from non-Octopus energy suppliers, and provide you with accurate charging costs.
